🏛 Tang Dynasty (618907 AD)Earth / Metal🙏 Caishen (财神)

📜 Historical Origins

The Wealth talisman traces its roots to the Tang Dynasty, when Zhengyi Taoist priests first codified the ritual of invoking Caishen the God of Wealth. The original script was revealed to Zhang Daoling on Dragon Tiger Mountain. Over centuries the characters evolved, but the core invocation remained unchanged, passed down through 63 generations of the Zhang lineage.

📖 Taoist Lore & Scripture

The Taoist classic "Taiping Jing" (太平经) teaches that wealth flows where virtue accumulates. The talisman acts as a spiritual conduit, aligning the bearer with the cosmic flow of abundance. Tao Te Ching Ch. 81: "The sage does not compete, and therefore no one can compete with him."
