Strengthen bonds and attract harmonious relationships

🏛 Song Dynasty (9601279 AD)Wood / Fire🙏 Yue Lao (月老)

📜 Historical Origins

The Love & Harmony talisman was refined during the Song Dynasty, when the cult of Yue Lao the Old Man Under the Moon who ties couples with a red thread became widespread across China. Song-era Taoist texts describe elaborate moonlit rituals to invoke his blessing for marriages and relationships.

📖 Taoist Lore & Scripture

The legend of Yue Lao originates in the Tang tale of Wei Gu, who encountered an old man reading a book of marriages by moonlight. The red thread (红线) he ties is invisible but unbreakable echoing the Tao Te Ching teaching on invisible bonds that hold all things together.

🕯 Consecration Ritual

Inscribed on the 15th day of the lunar month (full moon) using red cinnabar ink. The ritual involves tying a red thread around the talisman and reciting the Yue Lao invocation at midnight under open sky.

How to Use

Place under your pillow, carry in your wallet, or keep in the bedroom. For attracting a partner, face the talisman toward the window during a full moon. For strengthening an existing relationship, place it between two red candles.
